Bilt Points

Definition

Bilt Points are the rewards currency of Bilt Rewards, best known for letting renters earn points on rent payments without a transaction fee. Points transfer 1:1 to 25 partners — 19 airlines and 6 hotel programs including World of Hyatt — making Bilt the only major currency earned on rent.

Bilt turned the biggest line item in most budgets — rent — into a points-earning category, and its transfer partner list rivals the big banks.

How it works. The Bilt Card 2.0 lineup launched February 7, 2026 with three tiers: Bilt Blue ($0 annual fee), Bilt Obsidian ($95), and Bilt Palladium ($495). Points transfer 1:1 to 25 partners — 19 airlines plus Hyatt, Hilton, Marriott, IHG, Accor, and Wyndham. On "Rent Day" (the 1st of each month) Bilt runs rotating transfer bonuses to a featured partner, tiered by elite status.

Example. Paying $2,000 monthly rent earns points on spend that would otherwise earn nothing — roughly 24,000+ points per year from rent alone. Transferred 1:1 to World of Hyatt, that covers multiple nights at Category 1 hotels, which start at 3,000 points under the May 2026 award chart.

Common mistakes: expecting a Rent Day bonus to Hyatt — Bilt has never run one (the standard 1:1 transfer works year-round) — and ignoring elite-tier requirements on Rent Day multipliers. Read the complete Bilt Card 2.0 guide.
