Citi has just launched a 50% transfer bonus to ALL Accor Live Limitless, the loyalty program for hotel brands like Fairmont, Sofitel, Novotel, and Ibis. Effective immediately through July 15, 2026, Citi ThankYou Points transfer at a boosted rate, potentially making Accor redemptions a much better deal for U.S. travelers than ever before.
Our Take
Mixed. This is the first time we've seen a 50% transfer bonus from Citi to Accor ALL, and it finally brings the value close to what you'd get redeeming ThankYou Points for cash or travel. But Accor's fixed-value program still lags behind top U.S. hotel chains for outsized value, so this is a niche win—great for those with specific Accor stays in mind, but not a game-changer for most.
What Changed
- Transfer bonus: 1,000 Citi ThankYou Points → 1,500 Accor ALL points (normally 1:1)
- Effective dates: June 15, 2026 – July 15, 2026
- Accor ALL points have a fixed value: 2,000 points = €40 off your hotel bill (~$43 at current rates)
Who Benefits Most
- Frequent Accor guests with upcoming paid stays: 10,000 ThankYou Points now become 15,000 Accor points, worth €300 (~$323) off your bill—an uplift of about 1.9¢ per point, matching our ThankYou Point valuation.
- Travelers booking luxury brands (Fairmont, Raffles, Sofitel): If you have a high-value cash stay, this transfer bonus lets you offset more of your bill with points, making upscale properties more accessible.
- Europe-bound travelers: Accor's footprint is strongest in Europe. A family booking €1,000 in hotels could use 50,000 ThankYou Points (with bonus) to cover €750, saving ~$808 at current rates.
- Those with orphaned ThankYou Points: If you have leftover points and no better use, this is the best value we've seen for Accor transfers.
Who Should Be Cautious
- U.S.-based travelers loyal to Hyatt, Marriott, or Hilton: Accor's U.S. presence is limited, and you can often get better value from ThankYou Points by transferring to airline partners or using for travel portal bookings.
- Points maximizers seeking outsized value: Accor points are fixed at 2.0 euro cents each; you won't get the aspirational suite redemptions or 3–5¢/point value possible with other hotel or airline partners.
- Anyone without a specific Accor stay planned: Don't transfer speculatively—Accor points expire after 12 months of inactivity.
What To Do Right Now
- Check your Citi ThankYou Points balance and upcoming travel plans. If you have an Accor stay booked or planned, run the math to see if this bonus makes sense.
- Lock in transfers before July 15, 2026. The 50% bonus is only available for a month.
- Compare value against other transfer partners. For most, airline transfers or travel portal bookings may still offer more flexibility or value.
- Don’t transfer without a plan. Accor points expire after 12 months of inactivity, so only move points if you’ll use them soon.
