Our Take
Mixed. While a 50% transfer bonus sounds tempting, Accor ALL points are worth a fixed €0.02 each (~2.15¢), but the transfer ratio from Citi is typically poor. Even with the bonus, you’re getting about 1.3¢ per Citi point—well below our 1.9¢ valuation for ThankYou Points. This is only a good deal for Accor loyalists with immediate, high-value redemptions in mind.

Who Benefits Most
- Frequent Accor guests booking expensive stays: Transferring 20,000 ThankYou Points nets 15,000 ALL points, worth €300 (~$322). That’s a 1.61¢ per point value—still below our 1.9¢ TYP valuation, but better than usual.
- Those with orphaned ThankYou Points: If you have small ThankYou balances you can’t use elsewhere, this bonus lets you extract more value for an upcoming Accor stay.
- Travelers needing to top up for a specific Accor redemption: If you’re just short of a free night or suite upgrade, the bonus makes topping off more efficient.
- Citi Strata Premier cardholders: With the current 75,000-point bonus (~$1,425 by our valuation), this promo could stretch your points further for Accor stays, though it’s still not the optimal use.
Who Should Be Cautious
- Points maximizers: At 1.3–1.6¢ per point, this is a poor return compared to transferring to airline partners (often 1.9¢+ per TYP).
- U.S.-based travelers: Accor’s U.S. footprint is limited, so unless you have firm plans in Europe, Asia, or Australia, skip this.
- Anyone without an immediate Accor booking: ALL points are best used for cash-equivalent redemptions—don’t speculatively transfer, as you lose flexibility and potential value.

- Compare the value: calculate the euro value of your potential ALL redemption and divide by the ThankYou Points required with the bonus.
